Terms of Use

1. ELIGIBILITY AND AGREEMENT

• 1.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• 1.2 If you act on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so.
• 1.3 By using our Services, you confirm acceptance of these Terms, including any future amendments.

2. DOMAIN REGISTRATION SERVICES

• 2.1 We provide domain name registration, renewal, transfer, and related services subject to third-party registry rules.
• 2.2 All “.om” and “.عمان” or any other domain categories are governed by the regulations of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”) and applicable registry operators.
• 2.3 Domain registration is subject to:
  • availability,
  • registry approval, and
  • compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• 2.4 Certain domain extensions may require supporting documentation or local presence. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any request that does not meet eligibility requirements.

3. REGISTRANT INFORMATION

• 3.1 You must provide accurate, complete, and updated registration information at all times.
• 3.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy of WHOIS and account data.
• 3.3 False, incomplete, or misleading information may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain without liability.
• 3.4 Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable Oman Personal Data Protection Law, related regulations and our Privacy Policy.

4. FEES, PAYMENT, AND RENEWALS

• 4.1 All fees are stated in Omani Rial (OMR) unless otherwise stated.
• 4.2 Payment must be completed before processing any service.
• 4.3 You are solely responsible for timely renewal of domain names.
• 4.4 We shall not be liable for loss of domains due to:
  • non-renewal,
  • failed payment,
  • incorrect contact details,
  • failure to respond to notices, or
  • actions of third-party registries.
• 4.5 All applicable taxes, including VAT, apply in accordance with Omani law.

5. PREMIUM DOMAIN NAMES

• 5.1 Some domain names may be classified as premium or restricted by the TRA or registry operators.
• 5.2 Final pricing is subject to confirmation by the registry authority.
• 5.3 If a pricing discrepancy occurs:
  • you may accept the updated price, or
  • cancel the order and receive a full refund for the affected transaction.
• 5.4 If no response is received within three (3) business days, the order may be cancelled and refunded.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use our services for:

• illegal activities under Omani or international law,
• intellectual property infringement,
• phishing, malware, hacking, or cybercrime,
• spam or abusive communications,
• cybersquatting or bad-faith registrations,
• activities that harm internet stability or security.

We reserve the right to suspend, lock, transfer, or cancel any domain violating these Terms or registry rules.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All intellectual property rights in our website, systems, content, branding, and materials belong to “Ooredoo” or its licensors.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials without prior written consent.

8. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION

• 8.1 Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are final and non-refundable once submitted to the registry.
• 8.2 Refunds apply only where:
  • the registry rejects the application, or
  • failure is due to a verified technical error on our side.
• 8.3 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
• 8.4 No refunds are provided for:
  • user input errors,
  • incorrect domain selection,
  • change of mind, or
  • eligibility failures.
• 8.5 Cancellation does not entitle you to any partial refund.

9. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may immediately suspend or terminate services without liability if:

• you breach these Terms,
• fraudulent or illegal activity is suspected,
• payment is outstanding, or
• required by law, TRA, or registry authorities.

Termination does not affect accrued payment obligations.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding:

• uninterrupted availability,
• successful registration,
• security,
• error-free operation, or
• compatibility with third-party systems.

All implied warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• 11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ooredoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
• 11.2 We are not responsible for:
  • TRA decisions,
  • registry actions,
  • DNS or internet failures,
  • cyberattacks,
  • third-party service failures, or
  • force majeure events.
• 11.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the affected service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

• governmental or regulatory actions,
• TRA or registry restrictions,
• cyber incidents,
• natural disasters,
• war or civil unrest,
• infrastructure failures, or
• third-party system outages.

13. DOMAIN DISPUTES

• 13.1 All domain disputes shall be resolved under:
  • TRA regulations, and
  • applicable registry procedures.
• 13.2 We may comply with any binding decision issued by a competent authority, court, or arbitration panel.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
• Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Muscat, Oman.

15. AMENDMENTS

• We may update these Terms at any time.
• Changes become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
• Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
